The studio is what is new in my business! Having my own studio has been a dream and goal of mine for several years. The debate was to lease a commercial space or do a home studio. Since I only do three clients a month, doing a home studio is a better option for now. 

Boudoir photography is very intimate and some of my clients just were not comfortable having their session done in a hotel room. They wanted a more discreet option/location for their boudoir photo experience. Finding parking downtown and meeting me in a hotel lobby to escort them to the room to do their session was inconvenient. It was a pain to be limited to the times of day that the session could be done during the time frame for which the room was booked.

With the new home studio, clients no longer have to do their sessions at a hotel. No more panicking about being late to the session because it is a pain to find parking downtown. No more lugging a spend-a-night bag thru the hotel lobby with their outfits for the session. Now clients can relax and not feel rushed during their experience. The convenience of a boudoir studio session is going to be fantastic. I will be able to serve clients even better than before. Plus, I can offer clients the flexibility of selecting items from the client closet and scheduling their session no matter the time of day. And that makes me so happy!
