Letting go of my version of the type of photographer that I thought I wanted to be was initially scary. Since July 2013, I have been focused on only being a high school senior photographer. All of my "L's" in the senior genre have been lessons learned and not losses in my business. However, after weeks of praying and doing some self reflecting, I no longer have the desire to continue to do senior photography. I thought about the time, emotions, and finances that I have invested in doing senior photography and was scared to let it go. I guess I was scared because it feels like failure. I am now at peace about the decision to no longer do senior photography and I can let go of that dream. I am ready to embrace my "why" and fulfill the purpose of being a photograpHer.

My "why" of doing photography is solidified. I know for sure that I want to do photography that is all about helping women feeling empowered, bold, and not being afraid to live out loud!
