Still pinching myself after the first boudoir marathon that I hosted. It was a combination of hard work and play. The ladies that answered the call were awesome to work with. It was very nice having girl talk with each of them. I was in my happy place! A fabulous time was had by all!

Boudoir Marathon Savannah, Georgia

Excited to give a tour of the room at TRYP by Wyndham in the Historic District in Downtown Savannah, Georgia. The Boudoir Marathon was a success!

Now it is time for me to be transparent: my first boudoir model call was a flop, no one signed up! I was feeling down about it, but guess what? I did not give up! I just scheduled another one, prayed to God to send me the right clients, and advertised more to a targeted audience.

However, before I put in the work for this model call, I got myself a mentor who is also a talented boudoir photographer. I had her on my 2019 vision board to do a mentoring session with her so it was already in the atmosphere that I wanted to work with her. After working with her for six weeks, I have my systems in place and tweaking some other things. Everything will get done because she is holding me accountable. I invested in myself and I am at peace with the decision to only do boudoir photography.

This is why you should not and can not compare and compete with what you see other people do on social media. It took faith and work for me to finally get the three ladies that did answer the model call and participated. So the postings that I keep making about the marathon is my highlight reel! So be encouraged to know that what is for you is for you. No man can close the door that God opens for you.

I can not wait to see the faces of the models at their viewing session in a couple of weeks! They are going to be amazed with their fabulous selves!

At first I was scared to leap from senior to boudoir photography. I even had people questioning me and telling me that they were not feeling the direction that my business was going in. I am so glad that I did make the switch. The style of boudoir that I do is to empower women and not make them sex objects.

Cheers to the new Renee Buckles Photography!

Allow me to reintroduce myself...
